Rory on the red carpet! Alexis Bledel made a rare appearance with her husband, Mad Men starVincent Kartheiser, at the 2016 SAG Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A. on Saturday, January 30.
Bledel, 34, wore a light blue Bibhu Mohapatra dress for the star-studded event. She also wore Via Spiga shoes and accessorized with Kwiat stud earrings.
The actress was on hand to support Kartheiser, 36, and his AMC series, which ended after seven seasons last May. (The couple secretly wed in August 2014 after two years of dating.)Mad Men was nominated in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series category, but lost to PBS’ Downton Abbey.
Up next, Bledel is heading back to Stars Hollow — at least for a little while. As previously reported, Netflix and Warner Bros. Television are officially reviving her beloved series, Gilmore Girls. She and her TV mom Lauren Graham will reprise their roles as Rory and Lorelai Gilmore for four 90-minute episodes. Graham, 48, tweeted about the news on Friday.
“I CAN NOW CONFIRM: it's time for me, and this jacket I stole in 2007, to return to work. @netflix #GilmoreGirls,” she wrote.
“We haven’t even started shooting and I haven’t even seen any of the scripts,” she added in a video posted by Logo TV. “All I can tell you is it is because of you, the devoted fans, that I get to revisit this character and go back to this world. And we are all so excited and so thankful.”
Bledel and Graham recently reunited with the cast at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas over the summer. “I’ve missed you, @alexisbledel,” Graham tweeted at the time. Bledel replied: “LG!!! Missed you too!”
